Susan Angell - President/CEO
Susan serves as President & CEO of Susan Angell Enterprises, Inc. which includes ShowMakers of America®. She holds a B.S. Degree in Dance and Physical Education from Southwest Texas State University and is a former SWT Strutter Head Captain. She was the first Strutter to be inducted into the Strutter Hall of Fame. Susan was a high school dance team director and has 37 years experience teaching/directing camps and contests. She was awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award in Dance from Southwest Texas State University. Susan has co-authored three levels of dance curriculum for NEISD and was selected by Texas Education Agency to help develop the certification exam for dance educators. She has directed and choreographed dance performance tours throughout Europe, the Orient, the United States and serves on the production staff for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade™ in conjunction with Spirit of America. In addition, Susan has studied dance in New York with some of the Nation’s leading dance authorities. She has been recognized as one of the nation’s Top Ten Directors, has been a finalist for Texas Dance Educators Achievement Award, received the Dance/Drill Team Directors of America Lifetime Achievement Award and has been recognized nationally and internationally for her work as a choreographer and entrepreneur. In March 2009, Susan conducted a dance performance workshop in Santiago, Chile for the LOCD Cheerleading and Dance League. Most recently, Susan is the recipient of the Texas State Alumni Star Award, and the prestigious Rolle Award for her years of service to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade™ in conjunction with Mike Miller & Associates Special Events. Susan has choreographed and conducted auditions for the San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers and the Texas State University Strutters. She is currently the director and choreographer of the world renowned Texas State University Strutters, and has recently choreographed their performances on NBC’s nationally televised America’s Got Talent.

Stacy Becker - Executive Vice President for Curriculum
Stacy Becker is the Executive Vice President of ShowMakers of America® and has been with the company since its formation in 1988. She has coordinated clinics, contests and camps for the past 34 years and has co-directed performance tours in Europe, the Orient and the United States. Stacy also coordinates specialized officer and director training workshops for summer camps and for director conventions, and is the director of ShowMakers Hawaii Spring Fling National Dance/Drill Team Competition. She is a former Head Captain of the Southwest Texas Strutters, holds a Masters Degree and is dance certified. For the past 13 years, Stacy has served on the production staff and is the spectator coordinator for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade™ in conjunction with Spirit of America. She served as the dance, drill and pep director at John Marshall H.S. for 18 years and was recognized as one of the Top Ten Directors of America. Stacy was the 2004 recipient of the Dance and Drill Team Directors of America Lifetime Honorary Member, the 2005 Educator of the Year at ’Connor H.S., the 2006 OCHS nominee for HEB’s Excellence in Education Lifetime Achievement and is currently the Social Studies Coordinator at OCHS.

Vivian Stewart - Director Workshop Coordinator
Vivian holds a B.S. Degree in Dance, a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from SWTSU and was Head Captain of the SWT Strutters.  She is the former director of the award winning dance/drill teams at Churchill H.S. for 21 years and has 23 years experience instructing precision dance.  Vivian has trained with many dance professionals to include Frank Hatchett of New York City, L.A. Dance Force and Joe Tremaine.  She is past President for Drill/Dance Team Directors of America, instructs a yearly judge’s certification workshop for DTDA’s National Convention, and has been recognized as one of the Top Ten Directors in the nation.  Vivian has represented ShowMakers and served as choreographer for the Alamo Bowl halftime in conjunction with BGA Performance & Special Events.  Additionally, she has served on staff for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade™ in conjunction with Mike Miller & Associates Inc. Special Events.  Vivian received the 2003 Dance/Drill Team Directors of America Lifetime Honorary Member and has been with ShowMakers since its formation.  Vivian is currently an Asst. Principal at John Marshall H.S.

Kimberly Cook - Executive Coordinator for Operations
Kim has a dance degree from Southwest Texas State University and is dance certified.  She has trained with Alvin Ailey Dance Company’s master classes, currently serves on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade dance staff in conjunction with Mike Miller & Associates Inc. Special Events, and is the co-director of ShowMakers’ Hawaii Spring Fling National Dance/Drill Team Competition. Kim is the current cheer coach and dance/pep director at Edison H.S.  This is Kim’s 19th year on staff.

Sarah Visel - Director of Staff Development / Staff Coordinator
Sarah has had 16 years of dance training in ballet, Pointe, jazz, tap, and modern.  She has trained with the Houston Ballet Academy for 3 consecutive summers, was a soloist with the Corpus Christi Ballet Company, and has studied with some of the world’s most prominent teachers.  Sarah is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University where she was head captain of the SWT Strutters, a Mitte Scholar and a member of Chi Omega Sorority.  She has performed with the Strutters in Portugal, Austria, Prague, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade™, Kaufmann’s Parade in Pittsburgh and has appeared on MTV’s TRL.  Sarah holds a Masters degree in Education and is dance certified.   In addition, she is a former Spurs Silver dancer and dance studio owner.  Currently, Sarah is the Dance and Drill Team Director at Tom C. Clark HS in San Antonio.    Her specialties include Jazz, Lyrical, and Modern.  This is Sarah’s 12th year on staff.

Amanda Bond
Former SWT Strutter, dance degree from Texas Tech, served on the dance staff for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade™ in conjunction with Mike Miller & Associates Inc. Special Events, current dance team director at Conroe HS.

Stacy Burnham
