EVALUATIONS AND AWARDS
ShowMakers® will offer a non-competitive atmosphere in which learning will be the primary focus.  Our awards system will accentuate teamwork and instill dedication.

TEAM AWARDS
Trophies and plaques will be awarded to those groups receiving GRAND CHAMPIONS, SWEEPSTAKES (for 2 routines), DIVISION I, MOST OUTSTANDING HOME ROUTINE, OUTSTANDING HOME ROUTINE PERFORMANCE, MOST OUTSTANDING CAMP DANCE, OUTSTANDING CAMP DANCE PERFORMANCE,OUTSTANDING TEAM OF THE DAY, MOST SPIRITED, MOST ADMIRED

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
Ribbons awarded daily to outstanding individuals, All-Star Dancer, Miss High Kick, Miss Leaps, Miss Turns, and Miss ShowMaker
Individuals will receive trophies, medals and ribbons.

Special Event Opportunities Include:

2009 Capital One Bowl (ESP Productions)



WHAT TO BRING (DORM): Twin bed sheets, pillow, blanket, towels, toiletries, kneepads, alarm clock, money for key deposits and camp store.

MEALS: Begin at noon the first day and end with lunch the last day. Meals are provided for resident students and directors only.  Officer Camp and Drill/Pep Camp fee includes 3 lunches, 2 dinners (breakfast on your own).

HOUSING: Air-conditioned facilities are provided at all campus sites.  All Hotel sites will require four students per room.  College sites will require two students per room.

REGISTRATION: Complete the printable registration form or click here to register for hotel camps or non-hotel camps. Deposits should be sent promptly to our office. A confirmation/information packet will be sent to your school.  See registration form for payment policy and deposit deadlines.

INSURANCE/MEDICAL: Each student will be responsible for medical expenses due to illness or injury that may occur at camp.  ShowMakers carries a $1 million accident insurance policy required by all host colleges.  Each participant must submit medical release forms signed by their parent/guardian.  These forms will be included in the confirmation packet.

EARLY ARRIVAL: Contact the ShowMakers office for early arrival information.  Extra night for Blinn College is $15/person (meals not included).  Extra night fee for hotel camp is $125 per room.

HOTEL: Reservations for officer and drill/pep camp hotel rooms will not be made unless room list is submitted online (or via fax).  Deposits must be received by the specified deadline.  Final reservations will NOT be made unless deposit is received.

DIRECTOR/CHAPERONE FEE: Directors bringing 25 students or more to line camp will be allowed to attend free of charge.  All other adults will be charged a reduced rate of $185 to cover room and board (Blinn Camp).  Commuting directors will be charged $125 ($150 for hotel camps).  Director/Chaperone Hotel Camp Fees: Quad: $260 / Triple: $285 / Double: $300 / Single: $350.

CHAPERONES: All teams and officer lines must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.  If your group is unable to send a chaperone, contact the ShowMakers office to make arrangements.

CAMP COST: The price per camp for resident students is listed by camp location.  This price includes room, board and all camp activities.  Dance commuters and commuting directors do not receive meals or housing.  Each camp price is based on two nights and three days with the exception of a private camp. *Director fee includes room, board, supplies, music CD, and routine DVD.

CAMP ARRIVAL: Camp registration will be from 8 - 9 am. with the first session beginning at 10 am.  The departure time for final day will be approximately 5:15 p.m.

HOME ROUTINE EVALUATION: This evaluation is held on the first evening of camp.  Teams/officer groups will be given a I, II, or III rating.  Highest scoring teams will be recognized and awarded plaques on the final day of camp.  In addition, a “Most Outstanding Home Routine” award will be given to the school with the highest score. *All evaluations count toward final day camp trophies.  Teams and officer groups have the option of participating.
