ShowMakers® in conjunction with Intropa Tours International is excited to offer a new dance/drill contest opportunity in a sensational locale: the Hawaiian Islands! Our contest will be held at Brigham Young University-Hawaii and the Award Ceremony will be at the Polynesian Cultural Center on Saturday, March 15, 2008, on the island of Oahu. We will provide the same professionalism and efficiency of our other contests, but this tropical paradise tour package will make it an unforgettable experience of a lifetime for any team! The date will fall, for most U.S. schools, during the beginning or end of Spring Break. You will be able to choose which week to tour Oahu’s main attractions so that it fits your school’s schedule. The escorted sightseeing tours and activities are planned to give your team every opportunity to see the spectacular historical cultural, environmental, and amusement features of Oahu! What a pleasurable way to compete while exploring one of our nation’s most tranquil and extraordinary picturesque states!
2008 Contest Fees: Cost for Mainland Schools is $50 per participant and includes up to 3 team and 3 officer routines along with a contest t-shirt for each participant (solo/ensemble fees are not included).

Land Package: In order for ShowMakers to hold this contest at the 2 Hawaiian sites (BYU-Hawaii/Polynesian Cultural Center), you must make travel arrangements through Intropa Tours, as they have blocked air space from most Texas cities at special group rates and have prepared a complete land package in conjunction with the contest’s event sites. You are welcome to purchase air from your local travel agency, but if you do so, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the hotel. Intropa offers free lei greeting and round trip transfers when you purchase the airfare from Intropa Tours. Intropa will also customize your package to fit your needs, desires and budget!! Our teams stay in various hotels in the Waikiki area, eat at different restaurants, stay various amount of days and customize their daily itinerary.
